GVFD/MCPD Joint Open House is Fast Approaching

The Germantown Volunteer Fire Department Station 29 and the Montgomery County Police 5th District are hosting the 9th Annual Community Open House on Saturday, September 10th, 2011 from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM. It will be at the Germantown Volunteer Fire Department, Station 29 (20001 Crystal Rock Drive in Germantown, Maryland).

Activities to Include: Police Helicopter, Mounted Police, Vehicle Extrication Demos, Motorcycle Police, Fire Safety House, Moon bounce, Junior Firefighter Challenge, Scavenger Hunt, Finger Printing Kits, T-Shirts, K-9 Demo, Car Seat Check Point, Ice Cream, Hot Dogs, Washington Capitals Mascot Slapshot, and much more. We will also be displaying our brand new fire engine that has been purchased by your generous donations.

There will also be the Annual Silent Auction to help raise money for station equipment. Some items being auctioned off are: Hotel packages, vacation timeshare, restaurant and merchandise gift certificates, autographed sports memorabilia, spa packages, golf outings, and sporting tickets.

Please come join them for a great day of fun for the whole family.
