The Annual Maryland Firemen's Parade was held on Wednesday, June 16th in Ocean City, MD and Germantown's new Crimson Fire fire engine was awarded an "Honorary Mention" trophy in the 1500 GPM pumper category. This is the first trophy for the department in this parade. The MCVFRA Fire Prevention Queen, Cori Sabate won the top "Adult Fire Prevention Queen" award after riding on Germantown's E729B through the parade.
